This leading National Health Charity is looking for a Community & Events Fundraising Manager to join the team in the Gateshead office to cover the North. The Community and Events Fundraising Manager will develop, implement and manage a fundraising plan and income & expenditure budgets to maximise net income generation from Community and Events Fundraising for the charity within a defined geographical area, and to achieve significant growth in income, year on year. This role reports into the Head of Community Fundraising for the North and has 4 direct reports including remote staff in Salford and Leeds.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a really successful team. In order to succeed you will need:

  • Experience of development, implementation and delivery of a fundraising plan

  • Experience of undertaking, initiating and developing sustainable and profitable fundraising Events

  • Experience of initiating and delivering profitable traditional community fundraising activities

  • Experience of recruiting supporters for traditional community and events fundraising activities

  • Experience of successfully managing staff

  • Experience of recruiting, managing, developing and training volunteers
