TPP are currently recruiting for one of the nation's largest and established Children's charities. Our client is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of services for young people and continually deliver the vision of the Charity through strategic business leadership. To do this, you will encourage innovative thinking to ensure the organisation takes a pioneering approach to transforming the lives of children and young people.
The successful candidate will be accountable for middle management including business support, volunteer support and service managers. This post will report into the Director of Children's Services.
It is imperative that the successful candidate is a specialist in business management, and has a working knowledge of the social care sector.
Our client offers vulnerable and disadvantaged children a holistic support service and prides themselves in ensuring their key values are at the heart of everything they do. Therefore, it is vital that the person who comes into this post has a strong moral and value base themselves about children and young people. You will be outcome focused through passion and motivation, not just statistics, have a strong can do attitude and will have a good eye for detail.
To apply you will need to evidence you have experience of developing high performing teams as well as experience of acquiring and implementing new business with the inclusion of negotiating contracts. In addition, you will have a relevant qualification in social care work or significant knowledge and experience of working within a child protection framework and understanding of child protection statutory systems.
