This is a great opportunity to join a household name healthcare charity as an Area Fundraising Manager. You'll be responsible for generating revenue from community income streams, target the London and South East region, incl. Oxford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Stevenage and Slough.)
To maximise income generation by recruiting and managing networks of volunteers across the target region, inspiring them to get involved with the charity
To design and implement a plan to for the achievement of income and recruitment targets
To work collaboratively with the wider Area Fundraising team and with other colleagues to achieve organisational objectives
To work with schools, businesses and group/associations to build successful fundraising partnerships with communities across the area
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience of community fundraising, including of "making the ask" for support
Experience of successfully recruiting and managing volunteers and building volunteer networks
Experience of actively engaging with local groups, businesses and/or community networks to secure support
Experience of motivating people to get involved and quickly build rapport, establishing professional and profitable relationships with others
