Volunteer Post Room Assistant

 

Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK.  Their mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life. 

 

They are looking for a Post Room Assistant to start with them as soon as possible to assist on Monday - Friday afternoons at their London office. 

 

You will be responsible for assisting with Internal and External post, in addition to ad hoc tasks.  You will open the post accordingly to charity guidelines, record all cash, organise the daily post into departments, fulfil post requirements via agreed service levels, feedback on work status to line manager and frank and post all mail leaving the organisation.  You may also be required to assist with mail outs from the fundraising team.

 

The successful candidate will have good people skills, be a good communicator and have basic IT knowledge.
