A youth charity based in Woodford Green is looking to recruit a Volunteer Manager to develop and implement a strategy incorporating all aspects of volunteering across the organisation.
As Volunteering Manager your primary focus will be to provide production and delivery of a volunteer recruitment plan, a programme to support the teams volunteer led fundraising and the production of a supporter programme.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
*Review and revise all relevant policies, processes and practices to ensure the organisation is operating in a safe and legal way
*Develop and implement a training programme to ensure all volunteers receive the appropriate training and support
*Set expenditure budget and monitor performance to work within agreed targets
*To work closely with the Data Base Officer to ensure the database (Raiser's Edge) is utilised to maximise any potential opportunities within Volunteering
*Co-operate with all staff in maintaining good relationships with outside agencies and the general public in order to uphold the Charity's image and win increased support for its work
Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in volunteering and fundraising aswell as good knowledge and experience of managing volunteers and budgets.
You must have a full clean driving licence and experience of working in the charity sector.
