CLIC Sargent

CLIC Sargent is a Cancer Charity that cares for Children and Young People across the UK.

CLIC Sargent is JD Wetherspoon’s nominated charity. As part of this exciting partnership they are holding 5-a-side football tournaments at venues across the country on Sunday 12^th September 2010 to raise money for CLIC Sargent.

They are looking for talented photographers to capture quality images of each of the teams and of the participants in action, during the tournament. Your images will be sold to participants, helping us to raise more money for CLIC Sargent, and ultimately helping us to care for even more children and families affected by cancer.

You will be responsible for taking team shots at the beginning of the day and of the winning team photo at the end, as well as some action shots during the tournament. We would also like the photos to be displayed on the day on a computer to encourage teams to buy them.

For this volunteer role you will need a passion for photography and excellent photographic skills. You will need your own photography equipment including laptop to display the photos on the day.

This role will give you the chance to promote your own photography skills to a large number of people – you are welcome to hand out business cards on the day. This will give you experience of photographing a sporting event and an opportunity to add to your portfolio.

You will need to be available on Sunday 12^th September from 10:30am – 4:00pm at one of the following locations:

Powerleague, Derby – Derwent Parade, Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8BW
