Trustees
The Campaign for Drawing
Are you passionate about drawing and the visual arts?
The Campaign for Drawing – now ten years old – seeks new non-executive voluntary Trustees to help win recognition for drawing’s value in education and visual culture. Trustees should be committed to these aims and experienced in marketing, fundraising, business development or another relevant field.
The Campaign for Drawing is a charity that exists to raise the profile of drawing and promote its use as a tool for thought, invention, communication – and pleasure. It aims to change the way drawing is perceived and used by educational and cultural professionals, and the public, to increase learning, cultural access and social cohesion.
The Campaign has a dedicated team of two full-time (Director and Administrator) and four part-time freelancers (Power Drawing Director, Development Co-ordinator, Development Assistant and web content editor).
The voluntary, non-executive Board meets approximately six times a year in central London. The Board is responsible for providing leadership and developing strategy to direct the charity towards achieving financial stability and fulfilling its mission. While seeking individuals who will bring energy and passion to support the Campaign’s programmes, the existing Board would particularly welcome those with experience in business development, marketing and other relevant fields.
