Supporter Services Manager

A well established Disability Charity based in London are seeking a Supporter Services Manager with outstanding customer services skills who will compel loyalty in the charity's supporters.

Main duties of the role:

Directly service the needs of internal and external stakeholders, processing and managing gifts totalling over £30 million per annum.
Lead an efficient and effective supporter services function in order to maximise the charities overall fundraising income.
Identify and lead the development of key integrated strategies in the supporter development department.
Monitor changes and trends in the fundraising market place and legislation in order to adapt and maintain loyalty of supporters.
Provide sector-leading services that support the delivery of ambitious fundraising growth.
Manage critical processes such as Automated Clearing Systems direct debit processes and gift aid processes.
Take a lead role in the development and implementation of supporter experience strategies and plans.
Directly manage and support the management team.
Deliver plans, budgets, evaluations and identify and initiate improvements to the programme.
Facilitate the development of internal and external relationships, ensuring that stakeholders are engaged and investments are maximised.

Essential requirements of the role:

Degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
Proven ability to apply commercial and financial principles to improving business performance.
Excellent networking skills and the ability to apply commercial models to strategic and operational work.
Highly experienced at negotiating contracts and gaining strategic partnerships.
Proven experience of managing delivery against plans and budgets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledgeable with the use of databases especially Raisers Edge.
Working knowledge BACS for direct debit processes and HMRC for Gift Aid process
Experience of developing strategic proposals and gaining commitment from directors and board members.
