
This leading disability charity are looking to a Senior New Business Fundraiser on a maternity cover basis to identify, develop and win major long term partnerships to ensure opportunities for income growth are maximised.
The main duties of the role will include;
- Identify, approach and win new corporate partnerships by creating tailored proposals
- Take the lead on new partnerships and support colleagues in developing proposals
- Achieve agreed new business income targets for the corporate fundraising team
- Develop positive and beneficial working relationships across the organisation
- Contribute to monthly financial targets, presenting reports / information as required
- Cultivate existing partnerships to secure long term income support
- work with the charities databases ensuring they are accurately maintained and used effectively
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrable record of strategic leadership and business modelling including financial planning and budget management
- Proven success within fundraising or equivalent commercial sector experience
- A creative thinker, able to negotiate, problem solve and use own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports and communicate to all levels
- Excellent relationship building skills both with internal and external key contacts
- It literate with good working knowledge of MS Office, preferably including experience of Raisers Edge or other fundraising databases
