Do you have a passion for film?
Can you communicate effectively with teachers and schools?
Our client FILMCLUB gives pupils and teachers the chance to explore the world of film through after school film clubs. With free weekly screenings, online reviewing, industry events and hands on support, FILMCLUB inspires, excites and opens up new avenues for learning. Currently over 80,000 children and young people attend free screenings in over 3,500 schools throughout the UK.
FILMCLUB is expanding its team of regional freelancers who work with teachers to help schools set up after school film clubs in 1-1 sessions, small groups or over the phone. You will be attached to a region and provided with a list of signed up schools to contact in order to arrange a visit for the FILMCLUB start up session (induction) which you will facilitate.
You will be able to demonstrate the following key skills:
* a knowledge of state school education
* excellent communication skills
* an ability to deliver group and individual presentations
* effective diary management skills
* tenacity, drive and enthusiasm
* immediate availability for freelance employment
* ability to feedback to FILMCLUB head office
* a full clean UK driving license
* a passion for film
We are currently seeking more FIFs who will work on a freelance basis for a minimum of three days per week, up until at least mid-July 2010 in the following regions:
Cumbria, Cheshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire.
