
My client is looking for 2 Regional Management Accountants responsible to the Deputy Director of Finance. The core purpose of the role is to lead the in preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, strategic financial plans, associated financial reports whilst providing accurate financial and management information. Duties will include budgeting, assisting budget holders, financial analysis, monthly management accounts including variances, reporting to board and SMT, internal audit functions, liaising with the sales ledger team, support with the annual accounts according to SORP and take the lead in monitoring grants and restricted funding income and expenditure.
The ideal candidate will need to express experience with;
- Experience preparing financial information and reports to Senior Managers and Directors.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
- Experience of budget setting and management accounts preparation.
- Excellent MS Excel and SUN accounting package experience.
- Knowledge of Charity SORP, VAT, the requirements of charity taxation and company legislation.
