A leading UK charity are actively recruiting a Project Accountant. Reporting to the Director of Finance you will manage several financial developments to review and improve the finance department.
Project Accountants, main duties will include;
* Preparation of a Finance Procedures Manual
* Review current VAT legislation for the charity and trading arm
* Management accounts procedures
* Accounting package upgrade/development
* Deputise for the Director of Finance
Project Manager will have;
* Completed a similar role within a NFP organisation
* Ability to evaluate and communicate changes with other members of staff
* Strong knowledge of SORP and charity legislation
* Motivational and leadership skills
* High level of IT awareness
