
Practice Services Manager
Our client is a large 8 Partner NHS GP Practice based in North West London and are seeking a self motivated Practice Services Manager to join their newly structured administration team.
Main purpose of the role:
Within the post of Practice Services Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the practice, reporting into the Practice Manager.
Duties:
-Responsible for the recruitment and selection of new staff
-Hold regular team meetings with planned agenda
-Carry out effective HR procedures such as staff appraisals, 'back to work interviews', recording annual leave and identifying and staff training needs
- Oversee the Reception manager to ensure effective supervision of the reception team
-To ensure the maintenance of viable IT infrastructure
-Manage and develop the clinical systems, including performance analysis, staff training needs to maximise and optimise the system use
-Ensure effective management of QOF, QMAS and enhanced services and reporting
- Oversee and carry out data management, analysis and reporting is carried out in a timely manner against agreed criteria
-Ensure continuity of systems for post, scanning, filing, record maintenance etc
-General facility maintenance; to ensure the practice is following H&S procedures
-Deal with informal complaints
-Implement health awareness campaigns
-Enusre patient confidentiality is assured
-Deputise for PM when absent
Skills/Experience:
-Managing people training
-Supervisory of management experience
-Appropriate background within GP practice or similar NHS experience
-Significant experience in delivering customer service - comfortable dealing with people from all walks of life
-Experience of working in a management team and accepting joint responsibility
-Advanced IT skills
- Passionate about patient care
-Results oriented, confident and tactful
This is a great opportunity for someone perhaps currently working as a deputy practice manager and are now wanting to develop and progress within a large supportive team within the NHS.

Location: North West London
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
