Are you a HR / People & Culture Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience of successfully delivering a strategic people plan?

My client is awarding & assessment organisation who is looking for someone to lead the people & culture team. You will be responsible for making a really difference for all staff across the organisations.

We are currently recruiting for a People and Culture Manager. This is permanent position working 36.5 hours per week.

The role will be mix of home working as well as working from the clients office in Derby 2 days per week. There will also be some travel to Wolverhampton on occasions.

You will be an experienced HR manager who is ideally CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified.

Paying £33,075 - £41,895 per annum depending on skills and experience.

Role

  • To collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on the strategic people plan.
  • Leading and advise the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team on employment law, employee relations and up to date employment trends.
  • Be responsible for the employee lifecycle in line with employment legislation.
  • Manage people & culture teams effectively.
  • Supporting line mangers with all HR related queries
  • Deliver the organisation's strategic plan.
  • Formulating and delivering people plans at an operational level
  • Lead the direction on recruitment, to ensure organisational recruitment needs are met.
  • Ensuring policies and processes at each area of the employee life cycle are compliant with UK employment legislation, including recruitment, onboarding, probationary, pay and reward.
  • Ensure line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes to employment law and group policies and procedures.
  • Managing the employee relations workload effectively including leading on more complex and challenging employee relations cases.
  • Create and deliver training to managers on managing people in line with the group's people polices.
  • Leading on the performance management continuous review cycle, ensuring that the pay review process is fit for purpose and competitive.
  • Reviewing internal HR policies and leading on continuous improvements and recommendations to maintain compliance.
