This leading children's charity is recruiting for a Corporate Partnership Development Manager to play a key role in securing new business and managing existing charity partnerships. You will be responsible for developing existing and prospective corporate supporters with the aim of maximising income and support.
The main duties of the role will include;
- Make targeted approaches and tailored proposals to companies and corporate prospects to maximise results
- Proactively identify and research new corporate partnerships
- Play an active role in cross-divisional working ensuring activities are successfully delivered
- Be an active member of the team which includes statutory, lottery, Europe, trusts and foundations as well as major donor fundraising
- Reviewing and monitoring the teams activity ensuring the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness is maintained
- To take on line management responsibility
- To provide direction, support and learning opportunities across the team
- Build beneficial relationships with key contacts both internally and externally
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Proven success in securing new corporate partnerships across a range of income streams and delivering against ambitious targets
- Demonstrable experience of all new business activity including researching, cold calling and writing targeted proposals
- Experience of leading a team
- Confidence and the ability to set and manage own workloads and create and deliver presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent internal and external relationships with key contacts
- IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office suit and Raisers Edge
