GP Practice Nurse (Part-Time)
Our client a small and friendly GP practice consisting of 4 GP's and 1 part-time nurse, are currently seeking another qualified permanent part-time nurse to join the team. The practice is based in North West London just a short walk from a tube station and amenities.
Key duties within the role:
-Travel advise and vaccinations
-Clinical emergencies - anaphylaxis, resuscitation, collapse, convulsions, trauma
-ECG and BP monitoring
-Phlebotomy
-Women's Health - family planning, cervical screening
-Patient enquires including test results
-Chronic disease management
-Child Immunisations
-Clinical care - minor injuries, wound management, ulcer care, assist with minor surgery, coil and contraceptive implant fittings
Essential requirements:
-Registered Nurse & Full member of Nursing & Midwifery Council
-Cervical cytology skills
-Travel advice and vaccinations
-Child immunisations
-Good communications skills both verbal and written
-Interested in promoting and developing a quality service to patients
-Team player
