Our busy surgeries across London are currently looking for temporary Medical Receptionists to join their teams on an ad hoc basis. You may be needed to cover for a few weeks or ongoing and the hours could be full or part time. We have surgeries throughout London therefore this would give you the option to work close to home.
For these roles you MUST have solid experience as a Medical Receptionist within general practice and have knowledge of the medical database EMIS or Vision. You may be required to work on your own sometimes therefore a confident, quick thinking nature would be required. We are looking for candidates who are professional, friendly, have a clear telephone manner and take pride in their work. You will be the first point of contact for the patients in the surgery and need to make a positive lasting impression.
Duties would include dealing with telephone enquiries, taking accurate messages, booking and canceling appointments using EMIS or Vision, keeping the waiting room tidy, contacting hospitals, filing patient's records and general administration where required.
Hourly rate: £7.00 - £8.00
