Our client a Private Medical Clinic, are looking for a Receptionist to lead this exciting and challenging role. The environment is in prestigious offices in a professional environment. They are based in central London. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible and looking for someone to come in and make a difference.
The Receptionist/Administrator would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of reception, making sure all processes are followed and standards are upheld. People skills and working well under pressure are vital in this role, as is excellent communication skills, will be working to strict time frames. The role will be half the day on reception and the other half the day in the back office working on Administration.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience of working as a Receptionist and Administrator within a Private Healthcare organisation, the candidate will need to be self motivated, proactive and efficient with a real zest to make things happen.
Duties for the role and requirements:
* Open the centre in the mornings.
* To greet patients on arrival, check-in and issue and assist with paperwork as appropriate.
* To endeavour to take payment from all patients who are self-pay immediately following their appointment, entering this onto the booking system, the travel clinic system, and the daily cash sheet, and supplying a relevant receipt. This includes the collection of any outstanding payments the patient may have.
* Book, cancel, and reschedule appointments, ensuring all patient details are up to date, using the computer booking systems.
* Process repeat prescriptions.
* To ensure faxes deliveries are delivered to the addressee promptly & fax working correctly
* To organise couriers when required.
* Sorting out and opening of daily post.
* End of day banking , management of cash tins, end of day receipt checking
* To correctly close the centre at the end of the day.
* To follow administration manual procedures as set down
* To undertake any other duties that the Centre Manager may so decide from time to time within the incumbent's competency.
* Booking Insurance medicals
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week/ shifts between 08.00am and 18.00pm
