Salary: Up To £26,101 pro rata

I have a great opportunity to work with a leading animal welfare charity.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage all the press coverage for the organisation including daily reactive work
* Draft and distribute press releases
* Establish strong relationships with key journalists
* To be the first point of contact for all press enquiries
* Build high profile celebrity support from initial stewardship to the development of long lasting beneficial relationships
* Work closely with the Director of Communications to ensure that all opportunities are taken to maximise the charities positive media profile.
The appointed candidate will have:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in working in a busy media office, speaking to journalists, columnists, trustees, external stakeholders including those of high value and high profile.
* Experience of writing press releases
* The ability to work on their own annotative.
* Ability to work flexibly and on a number of projects at one time.
