Charity seeks a Management Accountant, reporting in to the Chief Executive and external part time Finance Director; you will be responsible for managing one part time Finance Assistant, providing support to managers and budget holders in relation to financial management.
Management Accountants key responsibilities will include:
-Monthly management accounting (reporting and presenting)
-Reviewing and improving operational and business plans
-Annual budgeting
-Cash flow forecasting
-Variance analysis
Management Accountant will ideally:
-Be fully qualified (CCAB recognised) - Part Qualified Accountants will be considered
-Have extensive management accounting experience, including cash flow forecasting and budgeting
-Have a sound understanding of financial processes and controls gained whilst working within a charity, along with sound knowledge of statutory reporting requirements including SORP
-Be highly organised with the ability to meet demanding deadlines
-Be an excellent communicator, with a proactive, positive and persuasive approach, a strong team leader
-An advanced Excel user
