Role: Major Donor Fundraiser
Type: Two year contract
This is a wonderful Major Donor Fundraiser job which will see you working closely with a dynamic and high-achieving team.
You will be involved in securing large gifts from high-net-worth individuals, and will be very experienced in making the ask and meeting with donors on a face-to-face basis.
With strong Major Donor Fundraising experience, you will get involved in implementing the major gifts programme, and will enjoy developing this.
In essence, in this Major Donor Fundraiser job, you will be involved in the full major donor cycle.
Other key duties in this Major Donor Fundraising job will include:
* Identifying prospects & using cultivation techniques to manage the relationship with the donor
* Ensuring effective stewardship of large gifts
* Plan, develop and manage special initiatives such as private meetings, dinners and supporter events
* Foster high level relationships with senior executives and the donor
* Develop and contribute to the implementation of a program of communiaction activities for individual major donors
* Set up ask meetings, write meeting plans and make face to face asks as appropriate.
An ideal candidate for this Major Donor fundraising job will have solid experience of soliciting gifts from high net worth individuals in a face to face setting.
You will also have experience in preparing staff for ask meetings and cultivation events, and will have demonstrable experience in organising events for high net worth individuals.
