This independent education charity is currently looking for a Leadership Development Officer to join their busy West Midlands Team. Working towards addressing educational disadvantage, you will be responsible for overseeing the two year programme which gives participants the skills needed to teach in schools in challenging circumstances, guiding and developing participants in your region to achieve results with their students, mentoring and advising at every stage of the programme.
Key responsibilities include:
Coaching and developing participants to achieve desired outcomes
Visiting participants in their place of work to assess progress
Providing support and identifying development needs
Building relationships with participants, school leaders, mentors and training providers.
Ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Liaising with all parties to ensure effective communication
You will have
2 years teaching experience
A Degree qualification (or equivalent)
Coaching experience (beneficial)
Excel experience (preferred)
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
The ability to influence and motivate colleagues
Excellent relationship building skills
Strong organisational skills, time management and strategic planning.
Good team playing skills but can also work on own initiative.
