Afghan Association Paiwand was formed in 2002 by committed volunteers from the Afghan community in the UK. The association was formed in response to a manifest growth in problems faced by members of the Afghan community living in the UK in the areas of housing, employment, education, children and family support and mental health. Paiwand now supports all refugees and migrants to the UK.
They require interpreters to work alongside their advocates to assist in communicating with clients and also to translate written documents.
They currently require interpreters who speak Farsi, Pashto and Dari
There are opportunities available in Barnet, Harrow, Brent, Haringey and Enfield.
