
This leading social welfare organisation are looking for an Individual Giving Executive to recruit, retain and manage donors using traditional and online marketing techniques to maximise the charities long-term net income.
The main duties of the role will include;
- Assist with the management of the fundraising campaigns from start to finish including researching proposals and creating briefs
- Working with the Senior Individual Giving Executive to report on income, expenditure forecasts and produce campaign reports
- Ensure all activity and campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
- Implement and maintain a detailed understanding of the motivations and interests of the charities supporters
- Attend and present prepared presentations at regular review and planning meetings
- Ensure the supporter helpdesk is briefed on campaigns in order to successful to handle and respond to complaints
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Experience working in a direct marketing role using both online and traditional methods to recruit supporters
- Excellent working knowledge of database packages with proven ability to maintain and report on income and expenditure budgets using spreadsheets
- Able to identify individual needs of clients to ensure prompt effective service
- Target and opportunity driven with the an understanding of business development
- Proven ability to manage time and resources effectively and deliver to budget
- Excellent relationship building skills both with internal contacts and external parties
- Flexible attitude, open to new approaches and alternative methods in order to achieve desired results
