Individual and Community Fundraising Manager

Salary: £25000 per annum

A well established international medical charity require an Individual and Community Fundraising Manager to engage with new and existing donors and provide them with an excellent level of supporter care.

Main duties of the Individual and Community Fundraising Manager are:

Develop and manage the strategy for individual giving in order to maximise income.
Create a business plan, forecasting targets and plan individual donor contact in detail.
Manage the Fundraising budget.
Manage all aspects of the direct marketing process.
Manage supporter and donor relationships with various means of contact, identify new techniques to do this and ensure donors are thanked.
Maintain the supporter database.
Contact and identify high value donors for the Senior Management team to target.
Organise and manage community fundraising events.
Recruit, encourage, recognise and thank volunteers who are community fundraising.
Manage and increase the organisations membership, ensuring enquiries are answered.
Ensure that the supporter database is used effectively
Report on KPIs and monitor the progress of the community and Individual fundraising.

Essential requirements of the Individual and Community Fundraising Manager:

Experience managing direct marketing programmes.
Proven success in making donor acquisitions through direct marketing.
Experience managing donor relationships.
Working knowledge of membership programmes.
Experience producing and managing budgets.
Experience using CRM databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate complex information succinctly.
Advanced skills in databases and Microsoft Excel.
Experience preparing copy for websites.
Excellent problem solving skills.

Desirable:

Educated to degree level.
Experience managing regular giving systems.
Experience of digital marketing.
Experience of legacy fundraising campaigns.
Experience of working at events to recruit supporters.
