A well established human rights charity require a HR Manager to manage and implement HR projects that add to the development of best practice within the organisation and help to deliver objectives. This role is 21 hours per week.

Main duties of the HR Manager:

Manage, deliver and communicate HR projects across the organisation.
Manage general HR duties such as recruitment, advise, HR policy, performance and attendance and casework.
Assist with the development of HR strategy and operations.
Monitor Project budgets and ensure payments are made promptly.
Check budget reports and use them to help forecast expenditure.
Manage the health and safety of staff and volunteers, providing risk assessments and training where necessary.

Essential requirements of the HR Manager:

Must be CIPD qualified.
Proven ability to keep up to date with HR employment law and policies.
Experience working in an HR Management capacity.
Excellent IT skills and experience using the HR Pro database.
Experience working with unions.
Ability to translate complex information concisely into practical terms.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to manipulate statistical and numerical data.
Experience advising others and in some circumstances influencing decisions.

Experience of using HR Pro is essential
