A leading disability charity is looking for a senior fundraising professional to lead their Relationship Fundraising team which incorporates Major Donor, Trusts, Corporate and Community fundraising. A key area will be Major Donor fundraising, until recently a significantly untapped area of income generation for this charity.
As a whole, you will develop the overall strategic direction for the Relationship Fundraising team providing leadership to maximise all existing funding streams and to develop new, innovative and sustainable fundraising opportunities.
You will come with knowledge and experience of approaching trust and foundation funding sources as well as successfully approaching major donors and the subsequent stewardship and management of these wealthy individuals. Sound knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility in the UK is required, as is knowledge of all commercial aspects of corporate income generation, trading and VAT implications. Experience and understanding of Event and Community fundraising and best practice will also be needed.
