We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading health charity on a 6 month contract to develop and implement growth in their community fundraising division. Training and mentoring 11 regional managers, you will be a highly experienced fundraiser and manager.
Responsibilities:
1. To draft and implement the Regional Fundraising team's new strategy for maximising income from community fundraising streams (schools, religious groups, Friends Groups, local individuals, local adoptions, local companies).
2. To oversee training and mentoring for Regional Fundraising Managers in these areas.
3.To draft and produce community fundraising materials as appropriate including standard pitches to companies and community groups; promotional materials aimed at this market; and schools/religious packs
Skills required:
1. Demonstrable experience of significant community fundraising gained in a charitable or commercial environment
2. Excellent knowledge and understanding of best practice and key trends in community fundraising.
3. Drive, enthusiasm and determination to deliver new strategies.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure internal buy-in.
5. Significant experience of management and mentoring.
