
As the Fundraising Manager your role will be to take lead and develop a fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on Major Gifts (Major Donor, Trusts, Lottery and Statutory) Events and Corporate Fundraising.
You will work closely with the Senior Management team and take the lead on fundraising activities and initiatives. This post offers considerable scope for an energetic self-starter to use innovative ideas to develop our work and increase income. You will work with the assistance of a part-time fundraiser and also volunteers who will be deployed to help with aspects of the task, particularly with regard to fundraising Events.
The post-holder will also feed into the continuous development of fundraising strategies, driving to increase income in all areas.
This role ideally needs someone with some experience of all major categories of fundraising. However, a bright applicant with a good track record will be able to learn the requisite additional skills and approaches. You will need to be highly organised, and able to deal with a range of donors and stakeholders from the highest level to local trusts and foundations with a strong track record of generating income.
