We are recruiting for a very interesting fundraising manager post within a small, social-welfare charity, which might be of interest to you or someone who you know:
Location: Central London
Salary: £33000
Roles: Fundraising Manager (full-time hours or 3-4 days / week could be considered)
Type: Permanent
This role will see you developing a strategy for the entire fundraising department in line with the charity's business plan, and you will also be a key member of the senior management team.
The charity has historically generated income mainly from Trusts and Foundations, but you will also develop their legacy campaign, and spearhead their corporate fundraising initiative. In brief, you will develop the role to incorporate trusts, statutory, corporate, events and legacies.
You really will have the opportunity to shape the role and make your mark.
Other key duties in this Fundraising Manager job will include:
* Working closely with the charity director to develop a fundraising strategy
* Identifying and developing fundraising opportunities for the charity's work through research and presentations to funders
* Writing proposals to Trusts and Foundations, statutory bodies and other grant making bodies
* Preparing reports for the Board of Trusteeds
* Providing advice to regional fundraisers to support them
* Develop the charity's legacy campaign
An ideal candidate for this Fundraising Manager job will have solid fundraising experience and a skills and success in at least three of the following fundrasing areas - trusts, statutory, corporate, events and legacies. You will also have experience of writing a fundraising strategy.
You will be extremely self-motivated, ready for a challenge and thrive on responsibility and meeting targets.
