Carers Network Westminster is looking for funding to develop new projects and to sustain existing ventures, an experienced and passionate volunteer with knowledge of fundraising is required to research, compile and submit funding applications to charitable and statutory sources. The successful applicant will be required to commit to a fixed number of days per month for a minimum of 4 months.
Role Description:
• Researching appropriate funding grants
• Finding charitable and statutory organisations whose aims and objectives compliment Carers Network Westminster
• Writing funding bids
• Submitting bids to funders
Person Specification:
The successful applicant will be:
• Have experience applying for funds from charitable and statutory sources
• Good written and spoken English
• Familiar with and able to navigate databases to search for grants
• Able to work independently
• Methodical with good attention to detail
• Sympathetic to the aims and objectives of Carers Network Westminster.
