My client a caring Children's health charity is seeking a Financial Accountant reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager. The purpose of the role will be to provide quality support to budget holders with their financial management responsibilities, service all suppliers and staff, to oversee and provide system support and deliver direct support to the Financial Accounting Manager. This will include ensuring a high quality service in a customer focussed environment, responsible for financial document and data, maintenance of systems and procedures, purchase ledger, adherence to financial procedures and controls.
Key requirements:
* Part qualified CIMA or ACCA.
* Accounting experience including reconciliations and involvement of the year end accounting process and internal reporting.
* Payments and accruals, purchase ledger and payment processing
* Experience with Sun accounting, excel and Microsoft word.
