The post will lead, motivate and inspire the fundraising team and be a member of the Senior Management Team. With experience of strategic management combined with a hands-on approach, you will manage a portfolio of established fundraising activities. However, to ensure the organisation responds effectively to ever increasing demand for its services, you will lead on devising new income streams to maintain stability and encourage growth. You will liaise closely with other members of the worldwide Fundraising Team to ensure coordination and common strategy as well as with colleagues in the Programme Teams throughout the worldwide organisation to ensure that fundraising and programme planning, development and execution are well coordinated.
The successful candidate will come with senior fundraising experience and be able to provide evidence of leading and motivating a multi-disciplinary team with a track record of success. You will be a confident, strategic and a creative thinker with experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy. Your expertise will include several income streams, including; individual donors, direct marketing, community donors, high value donors, corporate as well as statutory and trust. You will need to have an understanding of issues relevant to international development, and experience of working in an international NGO is desirable.
