We are recruiting for a very exciting development manager post within a prestigious organisation, which might be of interest to you or someone who you know:

Salary: £33250 - £36,600

Type: Maternity contract (9 months) **Please note, full time or four days per week can be considered**
This is a very interesting role and will require you to utilise your strong fundraising skills to oversee all fundraising activites for the organisation.
While there is an emphasis on Statutory and Trusts fundraising, you will also be involved in implementing a solid fundraising strategy and helping to develop other fundraising streams. The directors in the organisation have identified a need to secure funding not only from Statutory and Trusts but also from Major Donors and Corporates. You will therefore develop these streams too.
You will work closely with Directors in the organisation to manage relations with funders.
Other key duties in this Development Manager job will include:
* Reporting to the Board on fundraising
* Intiating new fundraising relationships and renewing relationships
* Writing marketing materials
* Line managing a development assistant
* Researching on potential sources of funding
An ideal candidate for this Development Manager job will have strong fundraising experience, particularly from public sector insitutions, trust and foundations, corporates and major donors.
You will also have strong project management and people management experience.
