This leading medical charity is recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop existing corporate support and implement new corporate partnerships. The post holder will also be responsible for developing a corporate fundraising strategy in order maximise income for the charity. This role is based in Birmingham.
The main duties of the role will include;
- Develop and implement a plan to raise sustainable and long term income from a variety of corporate supporters
- Working closely with senior staff members to assist and where necessary, lead on approaches to prospective corporate sponsors and supporters
- Monitor and report regularly on progress against all income from corporate partners ad supporters and meet agreed financial targets
- Account manage all aspects of corporate partnerships including donations, COTY opportunities, sponsorships, gifts in kind and corporate volunteering, delivering excellent customer experience throughout
- Build and maintain strong relationships with past, current and prospective new sponsors and attend cultivation events to retain new supporters
- Proactively undertake research into new corporate prospects and opportunities
- Represent the charity at key events which may require working antisocial hours and an element of travel around the UK
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrable experience of developing relationships in order to achieve results within a fundraising environment
- Enthusiasm and the ability to proactively seek new opportunities and respond appropriately
- Budget management experience
- Experience of developing and planning new corporate fundraising strategies
- Ability to work as part of a small, flexible team
- Excellent business acumen and experience working with the commercial sector
- Experience of generating new business
