Corporate Fundraising Team Member
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
The purpose of the role is to assist the growth of Leukaemia Research’s income from companies by playing an active role in helping the account management team with our corporate partners, creating awareness off staff voting processes, and researching new company prospects.
Your main duties will be to assist with supporting, maintaining and retaining ongoing partnerships and corporate events which will include: dealing with all enquiries efficiently and appropriately, preparing mail outs of materials needed for events, creating posters, fundraising materials and issuing raffle tickets for fundraising activities.
You will support in the motivation of Wickes store staff with regards to engaging in fundraising activities, prepare the monthly communication to LR staff and contacts with regards to those companies where the COY is done by the staff vote/nomination only. Research and gather information to identify new corporate prospects as guided by the CRM. Research and identify new fundraising ideas and merchandise items for our current partners and develop a layman’s understanding of blood cancer issues and medical research projects.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are well organised and have good research skills and be a confident communicator. This is the perfect opportunity for someone wishing to gain experience in the charity sector and offers a chance to understand how a corporate fundraising team works.
