This Community and Events Manager position is with one of the charity sectors leading lights, an organisation that consistently has a huge impact on the nations most deprived people and pushes against the boundaries of innovation when it comes to the scope and content of their programmes.
All of this energy and originality spills into their fundraising team and there is currently an opportunity for a Community and Events Manager of the highest calibre, somebody with big ideas and the courage to implement them, to join this high profile events team and share in their successes.
The main duties of the role will include;
- Responsible for meeting personal and team income targets and report on strategy
- Assist with developing strategies for growth developing products and partnerships to ensure long term income potential
- Successfully maintain beneficial relationships with external parties and stakeholders
- Identify, Work across teams and Implement new opportunities in order to maximise all avenues for income generation
-Supervise volunteers and temporary assistants as required
- Accurately record data relating to events and community fundraising
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrable ability of meeting fundraising income targets
- It literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and fundraising databases
- Exceptional time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Customer service skills with the ability to understand client requirements to ensure prompt and effective service and monitor feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messages to fit specific audiences
- Proven management skills able to motivate, encourage and set objectives
- Committed to achieving targets, make tough decisions and flexible to change approaches and use alternative means to achieve desired results
