Our client is a private provider of a whole spectrum of Ophthalmic Health Care including diagnosis, treatment and surgery for refractive, cosmetic and general eye conditions on a day care treatment basis. A world class centre for excellence in eye care providing the very best treatments available. With state of the art hospitals within the UK, they are seeking a Clinical Team Leader to join one of the hospitals within the group.
The Clinical Team Leader will lead, direct and motivate the clinical team as well as supporting the Hospital Manager in the day to day running and management of the Hospital. In addition the Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for the delivery of patient centred healthcare.

The Clinical Team Leader will ensure that the Hospitals and Operating Theatres are staffed appropriately and within the guidelines of the CQC, ensure a comprehensive level of care provision, efficient channels of communication between the patient services team, clinical team, consultants and surgeons, also the Hospital Manager.
Timely completion of clinical governance reports such as audits, incident and accident reports and infection control also identificatiopn of any areas of the patient journey in relation to satisfaction and services that can be improved upon.
The Clinical Team Leader will be working with the Hospital Manager, Consultants/ Surgeons and Anaethetists, Clinical and Patient Service Teams

First level Nurse- Registration RGN-NMC
Teaching Qualificatiopn eg 998 or mentorship
Minimum Band 7 Nursing level
Must be able to work under pressure and manage own workload
Must have experience of managing a large team
Must have audit experience, also change on practice
Ability to build professional relationships, to operate at operational and managerial levels, using own clinical skills.
Must have IT skills ie good working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and National Minimum Standards.
Knowledge of policies and procedures, CQC submissions and national Care Standards.
Significant management experience within a hospital / private hospital
Significant experience of effectively leading and managing a large team
Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and national Minimum Standards
Knowledge of policies and procedures in line with National Care Standards
Commercial outlook, working to targets and towards excellence.
