CLIC Sargent is a national charity that supports children and young people with cancer. 

They are seeking someone to provide administrative support to community fundraising managers in CLIC Sargent’s Southampton Office.

 

Duties would include:

  • Acknowledge donations by preparing and sending out Thank you letters
  • Event mailings – putting together information leaflets and sending out to agreed list of recipients
  • Collating fundraising packs
  • Making welcome and follow up calls to event participants
  • Maintaining stationery and resources
  • Internet-based research

 

For this role you would need to be IT literate (Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook), have good communication skills, have a friendly and professional telephone manner and able to work on own initiative and as part of a small team.

CLIC Sargent will provide you with all the training and support you need to feel comfortable in the role.  You will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and dedicated team, helping to make a real difference to children and young people affected by cancer.  You will also gain valuable office and fundraising experience, and develop administrative skills.

You will need to be available ASAP and ideally for a minimum of 4 hours/week between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday.

The role will be based at CLIC Sargent, 90 Shirley High Street, Southampton, SO16 4FB and your out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
