TPP recruits effectively a range of Education jobs within Not for Profit organisations. These diverse interesting roles fall in to the following categories:-

Education professionals working for Charities, NGOs,  or public sector bodies that have a message to deliver to young people

We place education specialists who build networks of contacts through whom they deliver a key message, this might be through talking to schools and delivering curriculum materials and resources which these schools can then use to deliver a message from within the national curriculum framework. It could also be through family learning that might be targeted at disaffected youth, or be through a direct bespoke learning provision. Usually the successful candidates will have had experience of working with young people.

Education Policy Advisors

These are roles from organisations and Charities that specialise in providing curriculum development and policy advisory roles, we have recently placed people in both the UK and Overseas. You would need to be a Senior Educational Specialist who would have experience of whole school improvement or the design, delivery and improvement of examinations and quality assurance.

Education Professionals working for Membership bodies

There are two distinct roles for education posts within membership bodies, firstly Liaison roles for organisations that want to explain the work of their membership to young people or educate an audience as to their aims and ambitions.

Secondly roles concerned with the continuing professional development of their membership, the running and delivery of professional exams or arranging student services and placements of interns and liaising with universities.

Education Professionals working in Museums or Heritage sectors

We recruit for Education people to deliver learning programmes based around heritage or collection based curriculum to young people both in formal school learning and also hard to reach and family learning groups.

Welfare to Work Education Professionals

There are a variety of Charities, NGOs and public sector bodies who work within this area, they will normally be working with disadvantaged groups and NEET students. There are a range of vacancies for people involved in mentoring, basic skills training, literacy, numeracy and delivery of vocational qualifications within a variety of different settings.

Academic delivery and Training

We recruit for Education professionals still involved in forward facing Academic delivery roles. This would involve Lecturers and Vocational tutors and academics in Higher and Further Education. Trainers in both not for profit and commercial organisations.  These people could work in colleges, specialist educational centres or sometimes as a reprehensive of a charity based with a School or cluster of schools.

Background/Experience/Qualification needed

Teaching background or Teaching Qualification would be needed if the role has a delivery aspect or direct contact with schools.

For roles within the Museums, Galleries etc a background of being a Curator would be beneficial as the candidate would have specific knowledge of the area/subject.
