TPP announces winner of Major Donor Career Development bursary
We are delighted to announce that Laura Perkins, from
Find Your Feet
, has won the Major Donor Career Development bursary sponsored by TPP Not for Profit, the specialist recruitment consultancy, together with the Institute of Fundraising’s Major Donor Special Interest Group.
The bursary was aimed at experienced or mid career major donor fundraisers ambitious to develop their career and will pay up to £1,500 for the recipient to undertake mentoring, coaching or training in order to further their major donor fundraising skills and abilities.
The TPP bursary generated a large volume of interest, with 179 enquiries and 33 completed applications. The quality of the applications was generally very high and the panel found it challenging to decide on a winner. Laura submitted an extremely well written case and demonstrated effectively how the bursary would benefit both her and her organisation. Her manager also gave her a very strong supporting statement describing the broader benefits to the charity.
TPP Not for Profit and the MDSIG would like to thank all those who applied for the bursary. TPP look forward to supporting Laura through her coaching.
