TPP currently has an exciting opportunity for someone to be an integral part of our Fundraising and Development Team. The successful candidate will utilise their resourcing, researching and organisational skills gained in a similar role to assist the fundraising team in securing the best fundraising and development candidates for their varied roles across the third sector.
Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will liaise with other divisions to ensure shared knowledge and learning; work closely with, and gain support from, our Candidate Relationship Manager to implement innovative candidate attraction, management and retention processes, whilst ensuring a steady pool of candidates are always available.

You will be responsible for assisting the consultants in securing candidates for roles which generate income for the third sector – these are key roles which ultimately make the work they do possible. You will source candidates for roles ranging from Officer level to Head of across all fundraising income streams including Events, Community, Corporate, Trusts and Grants, Major Donor, Direct Marketing and Legacy.
Key duties will include identifying, qualifying and retaining the best talent available on the market for all live fundraising vacancies whilst keeping candidate care a top priority. You will also seek to identify passive job seekers to ensure they are aware of TPP’s excellent reputation in helping to shape the careers of fundraisers across the UK. You will enjoy daily interaction with candidates, which will include face to face interviews as well as developing and improving the candidate management process and keeping consultants updated on trends and innovations within the current fundraising sector.
The Ideal Candidate
The role requires an articulate communicator who can build strong relationships internally and externally, demonstrate a track record in working to deadlines with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Experience of using databases and job boards for advertising as well as searching is highly advantageous. Research and mapping ability will be required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking and passionate about what they do. We have strong existing relationships with organisations and require someone who is willing to go the extra mile whilst also having the drive to seek and develop new networks and build long lasting relationships with candidates.
