Director of Campaigns/ Policy & Advocacy Jobs

Responsibilities & duties for Directors of Campaigns/ Policy & Advocacy

As Head of Campaigns, or Policy & Advocacy you will lead the team to ensure delivery on campaign programmes in line with strategic objectives. Working closely with senior management, Policy, Advocacy and Campaign Directors may act as a key media spokesperson for the organisation, lead on key policy documents, create and manage partnerships to promote the organisations work and ensure annual targets are delivered on time.

Skills required for Directors of Campaigns/ Policy & Advocacy

There are no formal qualifications required for most Campaigns, Policy & Advocacy Director roles although often many not for profit organisations will require a degree or masters or proven equivalent experience. Experience in the relevant field of the organisation is often required, such as international development or housing and good team management, communication and experience in dealing with key influences are essential.
